The three Principles - Mind, Consciousness and Thought - work together within all of us to create our human experience, every moment of our lives. Whether we are experiencing fear, anxiety, sadness, loneliness, contentment or satisfaction; the experience is always brought to us by Mind, Consciousness and Thought.

 

We have found that people's experiences of their lives improve simply by understanding how to relate to Mind, Consciousness and Thought to bring out the best that is already inside themselves.

 

People in all walks of life have found that they can realize a happier, more satisfactory life through a deep understanding of the Principles - hence the term: Principle-based Psychology.

 

It has been said that people who gain an understanding of this set of Principles tend to take a more philosophical approach to life, and are therefore less bothered and concerned with life's ups and downs.

Lori Carpenos, M.Ed., LMFT is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 30 years of experience working with individuals, couples, families and groups, and 23 years of experience teaching the 3 principles. Lori received a Master’s Degree in 1978 from Lesley College. She completed a post-graduate fellowship in Psychology of Mind/Health Realization in 1985 and an Externship in Principle-based Psychology in 1994. Lori has worked in hospitals, treatment centers, schools, and outpatient clinics; and has trained teachers, hospital staff, and other clinicians in this Principle-based approach to mental health and well-being. Lori co-authored Healthy Thinking/Feeling/Doing from the Inside-Out  with Jack Pransky, Ph.D. and she is the author of StressLess: A Guide to a Healthier, Happier Future.
